Digital Accessibility: Why It Matters to Every User, Not Just Those with Disabilities
Digital accessibility isn’t just about meeting the needs of people with disabilities—it also accounts for various situations your users may encounter. For instance, everyone struggles to read screens in bright sunlight, and captions or video transcripts are invaluable not only to the hearing impaired but also to those without headphones in quiet spaces.
By recognizing diverse user preferences and providing flexible options, you create a more inclusive and user-friendly product, which leads to greater user satisfaction, a wider reach, and improved business results.
It is estimated that up to 15-20% of Europe’s population may be digitally excluded due to a lack of appropriate accessibility solutions.
About the report
In June 2025, the EAA regulations will come fully into effect. Website accessibility has a direct impact on user satisfaction, loyalty, and company financial performance. It is estimated that 15-20% of Europe’s population may be digitally excluded due to a lack of appropriate accessibility solutions. In addition to meeting legal requirements, focusing on accessibility positively impacts SEO, increasing your website’s visibility in search results and attracting more potential customers.
To help you understand how to effectively evaluate your website’s accessibility, we have prepared a sample accessibility analysis report. This report, based on real data, demonstrates how advanced automated tools and expert experience can help identify key issues. You will learn which areas require special attention to ensure your website not only meets requirements but also offers the best possible user experience.

EAA (European Accessibility Act) & WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)
The growing awareness of users and new legal regulations, such as the European Accessibility Act (EAA), are making website accessibility increasingly important. The updated WCAG guidelines, coming into effect on June 28, 2025, aim to ensure that all websites are fully accessible and easy to use for everyone, including people with disabilities.
In Poland, over 3 million people are officially recognized as having disabilities, with the actual number possibly reaching 7 million. Across the European Union, 27% of adults report difficulties performing daily activities due to various disabilities. This underscores the importance of making websites accessible to a broad range of users.
